You don't have to worry about mixing paints and recipes with this kit, because the paints are already premixed to a very lovely medium consistency that makes it suitable for the most possible techniques. In the short course that comes with the kit, I demonstrate using the paints it for what's typically a thin recipe technique, a medium technique, and a thick technique.
